"Generations" .. a sculpture by Timothy Schmalz
This year, 2012, marks the 125th anniversary of our Shrine and the uninterrupted celebration of its annual Novenas to Saint Anne. It also marks the 125th anniversary of the combining of the formerly separate parishes of Saint Anne and Saint Patrick.
The anniversary year, which began on July 18th, will be very special and as part of its opening, Bishop Robert McManus dedicated the newest addition to the Shrine .. “Generations”.
Located in a prayerful and peaceful environment, accessible year round, the large cast bronze sculpture will be surrounded by memorial stones available for inscription with the names of loved ones, living and deceased, to be remembered in the tranquil presence of the Holy Family with Saints Anne and Saint Joachim.
Please contact us (telephone 508-347-7339) for a form to order a memorial stone, the first of which will be placed this Spring. We will continue to add stones as they are requested; as many as space permits. A $500 purchase of memorial stones will entitle you to a mantel or display size miniature of the sculpture from our Gift Shop. Don’t hesitate to contact the office at 508-347-7339 or email to
if you should have any questions or if you’d like to request additional forms.
May all the generations of your family be blessed!
